MovieMaker magazine named the Vail Film Festival in Vail “one of the best destination film festivals in the world”.
The Colorado Film Institute hosts the annual celebration of independent film. The festival features events such as film screenings, workshops, interactive panels with filmmakers, educational projects, networking events, Q&As, a screenplay contest, an awards ceremony as well as opening and closing night parties. Attendees are also welcome to view a variety of feature-length narratives, documentaries, shorts and student works.
