Vail teems with delights over Labor Day Weekend!
The Vail Jazz Party culminates the Vail Jazz Festival and features group performances, multi-artist jam sessions and inspiring multimedia tributes to jazz legends. Gourmet on the Gore reaches along Gore Creek Drive. Entry is free and it offers culinary delights available a la carte from the Vail Valley’s best chefs and eateries. On Sunday, the Vail Farmers’ Market and Art Show brings together local and regional produce and wares. Also on Sunday, the Vail Rotary Duck Race, a valley tradition, releases 12,000 “adopted” rubber ducks at the Covered Bridge that race down Gore Creek to the International Bridge.
The winning duck wins $5,000 for its adoptive owner and could win them $1,000,000! Ducks can be adopted online or in person at the Vail Farmers Market.
